5 Ways To Make The Most of The Incredibly Rare Super Blue Blood Moon on January 31, 2018

Within days of its occurrence, you may already have heard of this rare astronomical event through the medias or the internet — and if not yet, now you have! One thing for sure is the impact of the moon in every area of our lives is an undeniable fact and like many people, I find it fascinating and am highly sensitve to its fluctuations, most especially when opposing the sun. It may be because I was born one day prior to a fiery full moon (Aries) empowered by tight aspects to Mars, Jupiter, True Dark Lilith and the lunar nodes: a great potential of fully charged emotions ruled by impulsiveness, capable of the best and the worse — now and then a day-to-day challenge especially in my dealings with my mother and women in general. I certainly owe my wild imagination to this high-powered energy as well as my gift for empathy and everything that comes along with it. Sometimes, being able to feel other people's emotions and read them like open books can become untolerable especially if you don't have the material possibility to withdraw. The upside is I can gain great insight and dig very deep to find the strength to rise up from my ashes and from this private hell like a phoenix — or Terminator if you prefer scifi to mythology.

As yet, I can already perceive the effects of this upcoming full moon at work which I fear most of all as it's going to unleash all my karmic potential, i.e. it will conjunct the lunar nodes currently in Leo/Aquarius, transiting both my natal Dark Lilith and vertex right when the transiting Dark Lilith and Saturn will join Pluton on my Ascendant and Mars will be back to its initial position at birth on my south node (karmic past). Those familiar with karmic astrology may understand my concern, while rightly so, the rest won't give a s***. Never mind, my intent never was to ride the alarmist wav, but on the contrary to remind you of the inherent duality in all things as illustrated by my own personal moon than can lead me to heaven or hell — the former being what the article below aims at.

According to a small quizz (on the same webite) to find what your lunar eclipse personality is, I am a “Vitalis Vision-Holder”:

You are an inspirer, and Full Moons give you a window into the future with prophetic sight. Moon magic moves through you as flashes of insight and originality! The best way for you to survive (and thrive!) through the mystical mayhem of this lunar eclipse is to put your tools of divination to work, and channel some cosmic insight!

A rather accurate statement with spot on piece of wisdom. We shall see in details in 6-7 month's time when the next eclipse is due to occur.

2018 is off to an explosive start, and it’s about to get even better…

On January 31st, we will witness an incredibly rare Super Blue Blood Moon, the first one in over 150 years! What makes this Full Moon so notable is the concurrence of three major celestial events.

Supermoon

A Supermoon occurs when the Full Moon is at perigee, the point on its orbit when it’s closest to Earth. Full Moons mark a time of ripening, release, healing, celebration, community and culmination. This is why many ancients tribes had harvest and fertility rituals during the Full Moon phase. Just as it tugs on the tides, the Moon rules your still inner waters.

The Year of the Wolf

Cold wives and sunday papers,
City boys in first class
Don't know we're born little.
Someone else is gonna come and clean it up,
Born and raised for the job —
Someone else always does always pick it up.
Get over, get up, get over,
Turn the tape off.
I keep the wolf from the door,
But he calls me up,
Calls me on the phone,
Tells me all the ways that he's gonna mess me up...

"A Wolf At The Door", Radiohead (2003)

After crying wolf for so long, nobody believes you when he's finally at the door. Yet, in China they say he's just passed the threshold. If you're a sheep/goat or a pig/boar, you should be extra careful. Anyone else, expect to be treated like a dog. It is the prerogative of such a year. Chihuahua!

Winter Thrills

Winter winter on the way
Bitter cold she bring
Winter winter on the way
Hard and deadly thing
Winter winter on the way

"Winter Winter", The Waterboys (1993)

I know what you're thinking. “This pretty lady won't help global warming”. Your view not mine. Personally, I couldn't care less. She, on the other hand, should be more careful as she'll sure catch a chill fooling around in the snow, wearing no mittens nor earmuffs. Evil to him who evil thinks. “Don't get any big ideas, they're not gonna happen. You'll go to hell for what your dirty mind is thinking”. Not my saying, Thom Thumb's.

Monsanto: “The Diseases Caused by Our Pesticides Are All in Compliance With European Standards”

While many criticise Monsanto for its monopoly preventing diversity in farming and the high toxicity of its products, the company wanted to make a point by stressing its compliance with existing rules.

Whereas many studies link pesticide exposure to prostate cancer, haematopoietic cancer and Parkinson's disease, Monsanto wished to assure everyone that “these cancers are no different to traditional cancer; while their rate might be slightly higher than average in cultivation areas using our products, metastasis is exactly the same.”

As to whether the use of such chemicals as weedkillers, GMO's or Agent Orange can be accounted for the aforementioned diseases, Monsanto's response is unequivocal. “I know about the lawsuits against us, but let me say that none of Monsanto's employees suffers from such illnesses. Incidentally, all food served in our canteens is organic” stated a communication officer.

A blessing for the future

But instead of apologising, Monsanto strikes back: “Our products will inevitably have an impact on future generations. But call it like this: with the crisis, the increase in terrorist attacks, and Black M's records, it might be a blessing for those kids to die young.

Endnotes

  • Black M is a very controversial fascist, homophobic French black rapper.

There’s a Good Reason Why This Documentary Has 65 Million Views & Was Ignored by Mainstream Media

Last summer, I encouraged you to watch this over two-hour long great riveting documentary available in many languages. Here's a reminder for if there is one thing every human being on this planet should see, this is it. So for once, let go of your stupid brainwashing TV series that entertain you over and over again in endless variations of the same story and invest the time you'll save into healthy food for thoughts that might as well serve as a trigger to a life-transforming experience. Yes! Nowadays conscious awareness does not take as long as it used to and can also happen in a flash. Pass in on.

And for those who have already seen this film, you may want to watch it again just to raise your spirits up, reminding yourself that we are not as powerless as what we are led to believe. I for one, upon viewing the torus pattern explanation again, have gained valuable insight on the importance of heart energy from a purely scientific perspective.

As illustrated in the picture on the left, we can see that the heart chakra is creating the vortex that funnels the torus (universal pattern of energy flow found happening at every level). No wonder that when we get thrown off of our centre (or dis-heart-ned, in or out of inverted commas) we feel our roots and antennas literally pulled off while ending up totally disconnected from the planet and cosmic energy. As if all communications were out and our soul had gone silent (an excruciating feeling well illustrated by Philip Pullman with the cruel experiences on daemons in His Dark Material trilogy). We then find ourselves both vulnerable, destabilised and incomplete, desperately in search of an anchor, a bit like free electrons or nucleons snatched from their atomic nucleus. Let's hope this analogy will help the more pragmatic to gain better insight in this universal process and look at it from a scientific perspective rather than disregarding it as some wild New Age theory.

Looking for a good documentary to watch? THRIVE is an excellent choice, and one of the best documentaries ever made that touches on what’s really happening in our world, and addresses the questions that more and more people are asking every single year.  It’s a bit of an unconventional documentary, exploring topics that many people still have yet to wake up to. That being said, THRIVE has accumulated approximately 65 million views, and it’s a great example of how many people continue to ‘wake up’ and take note of what’s happening on our planet, in multiple different areas.

How does THRIVE do this? They follow the money, uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.

Mrs Skower's Magical Mess Remover

In this time of the year for good resolutions, why wait until spring for a thorough house cleaning? Hold on, I see what you're getting at with your lame excuses: “Right after holiday season, I'm broke and household products are expensive. Besides, they're harmful for the environment”.

Quite arguable. By chance, I have a magical solution for you. Not a scouring charm though (you may still try using “Scourgify" or “Tergeo” with your magic wand), but Mrs Skower's famous Magical Mess Remover. This is a multi-purpose liquid household cleaner for all surfaces that will efficiently replace the bald muscular guy's while being both environment and health friendly and very cheap.

And since things always seem to go in threes, it's dead simple and quick to make. So no more excuses! Just like its commercial equivalent, you may use it pure or diluted and rinse after application or not. Don't forget to shake the bottle before use.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon liquid black soap
  • 1 teaspoon soda ash
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 litre water
  • 80 drops of your chosen essential oil (optional)

QSF 1 litre

Instructions

Dissolve soda ash in water. Add white vinegar and shake well.

Dissolve essential oils in black soap before adding to the mixture. Shake well again: it's ready!

NOTE: To keep the cost down, only use cheap oils such as citrus (lemon, orange) or tea tree. I for one chose peppermint oil for its ”kiss cool” effect efficiently killing bad smells and its invigorating fragrance that makes you want to clean the whole house.

Year In Year Out

Dodgy, fucked up days of yore
Under misspells — such a bore
Indecent blood
From iron to green
Earth year downing on Earth.
(Kaboom!)

From fast asleep to wide awake
The goo and the bad years at stake
Goofed the head-start
Laughed its arse off — damn it!
(Heehee!)

Stolen, ripped-off — years of gunk,
Bogged down like gulls in the junk,
Gushing out in agony.
(Waaaaaa!)

Feary, stressful years — inconsiderate
Foully, fishy, smell a rate
Mark-off year ticking off
Takes jabs and shots
By hook or by crook — the scumbag!
(Tallyho!)

Mug years for all the muggers
Riff-raff, buggers,
Mishap years of crap.
Gosh! New Year's a bleeder
Gash cracked open and cured
Undeferred.
(Ouch!)

Sweet year to the ear
Unchains the dark
(No more chickening out)
Saves us from the Night years.
(Boo!)

“Pass it on” says the Fearless year
To the Merry year.
“Long live life
All year long!”
(Cheers!)

NOTE: This is more a variation than an accurate translation of the original in French, as you can imagine all these puns being literally untranslatable (and the other way round). But I certainly do enjoy a good challenge sometimes.
