Endnotes
^ Blood-drainer in French is “saigneur” which sounds exactly like "seigneur" (lord).
^ The French equivalent for “taking one's business elsewhere” is “changer de crèmerie” which literally translates as “take one's custom to another dairy shop”.
When the hoodoo comes, you'd better run, it don't miss nothing When the hoodoo comes, when it does it makes no exception When the hoodoo comes, you'd better run, for protection When the hoodoo comes, when it does it makes no exception at all
I travel far and wide with a message as I roam tonight The guiding star delivered the warning, it lives in every heart It stands at every door Make sure the light is on if somebody's calling
When the hoodoo comes, you'd better run, it don't miss nothing When the hoodoo comes, when it does it makes no exception When the hoodoo comes, you'd better run, for protection When the hoodoo comes, when it does it makes no exception at all
I knew I had to share the secrets I have known And I know that day is due, stand by the watchtower
When the hoodoo comes, you'd better run, it don't miss nothing When the hoodoo comes, when it does it makes no exception When the hoodoo comes you'd better run for protection When the hoodoo comes, when it does, it makes no exception at all No exception at all
Playing with it is like playing with fire. Like a phoenix, the Truth will always emerge from the deep and rise from its ashes. Both dreaded and dreadful, Pluto, the ruling planet of Scorpio sweeps everything off its path, bringing out the unspoken as well as the unspeakable buried deep inside humanity. It's a blessing in disguise actually, as in forcing us to reconstruct ourselves and eliminate everything superfluous and inauthentic, it give us access to our subconscious thus allowing us to uncover our untapped potentials. The transformation will occur willy nilly. It is therefore best to embrace it rather than resisting. Presently (and until 2024) transiting conservative Capricorn, Pluto squares Uranus for the last time (see Related articles). One word of advice to all Ariens, Cancerians, Librans or Capricorns of the second decanate (or those who have their ascendant in these signs): let it all out, stop repressing your feelings, it'll be less painful this way. Hold on, a better version of ourselves is in the making.
He who electrifies our lives is Uranus, the progressive, humanistic ruling planet of Aquarius, associated with the great technological innovations (amongst other things) including electricity. It is known as the upper octave to Mercury, where contrary to analytical-minded, detail-focused Virgoans and practical reckless Geminis, Aquarians uphold a holistic and comprehensive vision of the world (that can lead right to utopia if misused). While transiting Martian Aries for years to come, Uranus the Rebel, turned direct again and this time supported by Mars, will form one last explosive exact square to Pluto (the upper octave to Mars) in conservative Capricorn in around a fortnight. Since it also conjuncts the tail of the Dragon (related to karma), some significant upheavals are to be expected after which nothing will ever be the same again. Whereas Pluto governs underlying forces and inner drives, Uranus deals with cosmic infinity and the transcendental mind. Everyone should be affected by this transit, however if you're an Arian, Cancerian, Libran or Capricorn of the second decanate, don't be surprised when you feel you're suddenly on the front line. A bad idea for those who might be looking for trouble as it would be preferable for them to acquire a lightning rod. We've got the power!
